Note: From Gackt’s ninth single, Another World (almost double digits~!), and his third album, MOON. Let me tell you, I HATE when I can’t translate things well. The very first thing I noticed about the song wasn’t the bubble-gum rock sound, the happy melody amongst very Gackt-esque guitar, or the over-all super fun sound, but the amazing rhyme in the lyrics. It creates this incredible simple and fun, yet complex rhythm that carries the entire song. Everything just moves so fast, like you’re speeding along for a joyride in a convertible through the desert ala Thelma and Louise. It just flies along, pausing towards the end only momentarily to acknowledge the quiet hope and friendship that such a wild time stems from. @_@ Anyway, I tried to capture a similar rhythm in the words for my translation, but well, it was kinda hard. ;^_^ So bear with me; I tried my best.
